Portrait of a young beggar in Chittagong - Bangladesh.
if you go to india, get prepared to see the most shocking poverty that you will ever see in your life. The good thing about this country is that you have photo opportunities everywhere.
I'm one of those truly very sensitive people at heart. Even in my city when I see homeless people I get upset...
I always wish I could help them all. Of course, especially in India I wont be able to help any of them and it would be dangerous to try. Thanks for letting me know. I'll have to do more research and know what I'm going to be seeing.
How do you deal with the sad things you see? Do you have to just learn to move on from it?

Slums of South America... Africa and Asia are 3 very different kinds. The two first being most of the time dangerous (I have experienced them all), Asian slums aren't like the others! I spent 90% of my time in the slums with the poorest people when I was in India. They won't do anything to you... They will just be happy that u actually pay them a visit! If you start thinking that it would be too "dangerous" to try... then I think it's sad. They'll enventually consider you as a simple tourist ignoring reality.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example.
