This tribal woman lives with her family on an island of Bandarban in the Chittagong Hill Tracts - Bangladesh. Very close from the Burma border (it shows on her face as you can see). This tribal area is protected by the gov. Me and my two friends, also photographers, had to be escorted by 3 cops to get into this area and also had to get an authorization from the local authorities to get in.
I will never forget this moment, these faces, this place. |
